SOME John Abbott College MEMORIES...

Buying our campus:

I would keep an eye on that cheque, too.  Payable to McGill University, it is for the purchase of our campus on the Macdonald Campus of McGill University in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue.

The cheque is written for $20,000,000.00, yes, twenty million!

John Abbott College founded in 1970 rented space on the grounds of the Macdonald College Campus of McGill University, until buildings and land were purchased here in 2002

Remember when most of our staff and services were in Laird Hall, and classes were all over the campus?

The trees continue to bloom long after we have gone.

The Kirkland Campus was "retired" in December, 1979

Hey it's lunch time!

Do you remember eating:

  • upstairs in the Centennial Centre cafeteria?
  • Fridays in Glennalladale?
  • How about the Kirkland Campus Cafeteria?
  • Or the Qu's'era in Ste-Annes?
  • Or the "Electric Chicken?"
  • Or the V.O.N. -Simon Fraser House- get there early and order dessert first?
Remember "Veg Ledge" on the way into the Stewart Cafeteria?
